60 years ago this week, in the April 1, 1957 issue of LIFE - a fashion article ran about a young new designer in Paris - Guy Laroche. This image ran with the following caption: “Most sophisticated dress, worn by Jackie, is black taffeta, has low back, puffy skirt.
